The best way to set your volume is using a Gaussmeter. Information on
how to order one on-line is at the bottom of the page.

A gaussmeter is a device that lets you measure the strength of a magnetic field.
You have to make sure that the signals coming from Shakti aren't too weak or too strong.

ADJUSTING VOLUME (FIELD STRENGTH)
When you use a "Dr. Gauss" gaussmeter to listen to
the magnetic fields coming out of your headset, you should have a sounds like the ones on this page.
BOTH sides have a brief (less than one second) signal followed
by four (4) seconds of silence. The sound clips here include a silent section.
When you are testing Shakti, you should hear 'squeals' from your
"Dr. Gauss" gaussmeter like the sounds on this page.
There are only three Gauss Meters supported by the e-mail
Shakti tech support.
WHEN YOU ARE USING THE "Dr. GAUSS", YOU WANT THE HIGHEST READING TO READ IN
THE RED (RIGHT) SIDE OF THE METER. (CLOSE TO 10 MILLIGAUSE) FOR MANY SIGNALS, IT ONLY STAYS THERE FOR A FRACTION
OF A SECOND.
USE THE AMYGDALOID
SIGNAL, ADJUSTING IT SO THAT YOUR COIL(S) PEAK AT 10mG.
PRESS your Dr. Gauss lightly against one of the coils then press and release the thumbpad
on the side.
Do the sounds from your "Dr. Gauss" match the sounds on this page? If so,
then You may be ready to go.
