Make sure your volume isn't muted
......
You can't produce the Shakti signals if your sound is 'muted'.
Check Left / Right Stereo Channels
For some sessions, it's important that the left channel is going to the left channel
coils.
Check Low-Frequency Response
If your sound card won't produce very low tones, you can lose some of the signal's
components.
Turn Special Effects Off
FX, 3d surround, Dolby, etc., can mix the output from your stereo channels.
Stop Distortion
The most common distortion come from having the microphone, which can add unwanted
sounds to your signals.
Set your volume
You need to set your volume. Most sound cards do well at 25% for males, and 16%
for women.
Control Panel Sound
The control panel sound section lets you set your output for "Stereo Headphones",
which gives you a complete separation of the left and right channels.

For PC Audiophiles Only
If you use a LOT of sound softwares, you might create a kind of distortion in
your output. This can affect your Shakti sessions as well as your other audio work.
If your sound device is not one of the common types, and is not listed on this page,
then use the chart below to get started.
