The audio signals for the 8-coil Shakti are stereo, and alternate between the
left and right audio channels.
Make sure that the coils from one of your stereo channels are at the top and
bottom of a cross, and the other stereo channel's coils are at the front and back.
The animation shows the alternation pattern for the temporal lobes.
The best-tested signal for application here is the amygdaloid signal, although
the hippocampal signal has also been tried successfully.
In principle, the modulated 40hz signal should br able to elicit quite dramatic
experiences, though that session design still awaits testing.
This session design is better suited to longer sessions (done in sensory deprivation) than sessions repeated every
few days. This presentation will stimulate structures on each side of the brain equally, including those with unpleasant
phenomena. Single sessions over both temporal lobes are useful for consciousness exploration. If you use this signal
over only one temporal lobe, and you do not like the results, do not repeat that signal over one side only. Instead,
use the 8 coil headset over both sides.
SAFETY: Repeated sessions over either the frontal lobes or the temporal lobes
can bring up a kind of malaise. This can be avoided by alternating your sessions (or series of sessions) between
the frontal and temporal lobes.
