<<< This illustration shows the setup for the coils for an 8 Coil Shakti
sesison over the temporal lobes.
This is the session design closest to the ones shown in Television documentaries
about alien abductions, Near-Death Experiences, and other themes.
It is also closest to the session design used the the research publications of Dr. M.A. Persinger, a leading theorist
in neurotheology.

Sessions done over both temporal lobes are the ones that were used in
research into the brain's role in religious and mystic experiences, and are the ones most likely to elicit dramatic
effects during sessions.
The best-tested signal for application here is the amygdaloid
signal, although the hippocampal signal has also
been tried successfully.
In principle, the modulated 40hz
signal should elicit quite dramatic experiences, though that
session design still awaits testing. This session design is better suited to longer sessions (done in sensory deprivation)
than repeated sessions.
This presentation will stimulate structures on each side of the brain equally, including those with unpleasant
phenomena. Single sessions over both temporal lobes are useful for those using Shakti for consciousness exploration,
and it can be a good choice for those want to experience Shakti, but are still experiencing 'dud' sessions. However, if
you ARE getting effects from Shakti, it's not a good idea to do series of sessions with this design. In that case,
you might eventually elicit an unpleasant experience. Such experiences can easily be un-done (corrected), but are best avoided
in the first place.

Sessions done over both temporal lobes can elicit dramatic sessions for
some people. If this is your goal, then 60-minute sessions are appropriate. However, these should not be done more
than once every three weeks unless they have no effect. In that case, they can be done once a week, though it's
a good idea to change session design following 'dud' sessions.
